Six years ago this day I believed God like the way a child believes and I decided to quit my job and start a company. It was never clear to me how the future would look like but with a child-like faith, I believed. I had worked in a PR agency for 4 months and then in a totally different industry (IT) for around 4 years. So according to the human understanding, I probably did not have sufficient experience in Public Relations to start an agency. So I started with 6000 KES, a laptop, and a modem πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ and the journey has been interesting; I have cried, I have quit ( in my headπŸ˜‚) and I have come back but I have seen God do my PR. Over the six years I have been on all TV stations in Kenya, i have received awards across the continent; Top 40 Under 40 Women in leadership in Africa, Founder of the Year etc... , we have worked with international companies like Facebook, Viber etc and I have met people I never thought I would meet😊. Glass House PR has been listed among the top PR agencies in Africa and also listed on the list of top independent agencies worldwide by network one. It reminds me of Noah, who was not necessarily a professional but he built as God lead and he rested as the boat moved. I am excited about the next phase!
