KCSE results for the whole school can be accessed as advised below. Results can be accessed physically, by SMS code, or through the KNEC portal.
HOW TO CHECK KCSE RESULTS BY SMS
KCSE results can be received by sending an SMS with
your Index Number to 20076 for Safaricom, Airtel, and Orange networks.
The SMS procedure is a simple one-step of sending your index
number to 20076
HOW TO CHECK KCSE RESULTS ONLINE FOR THE WHOLE SCHOOL
To check KCSE results online, go to the KNEC website: http://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/ and
enter your Index number.
School headteachers can download and print the results from
the KNEC portal and website
Procedure
- Visit
the official KNEC schools portal
- To
login to the KNEC portal, Insert the User Name and Password which you used
during the KCSE registration.
- Fill
in the following fields under the box labeled ‘FROM INDEX’, input the
index number of the first candidate, and in the box labeled ‘TO INDEX
NUMBER’ input the last candidate’s index Number. Click on ‘VIEW REPORT’.
Then Menu is labeled ‘EXPORT’.
- Select
the format you would like to export the KCSE Result Slips e.g. ‘WORD’ or
‘PDF’ formats.
The ministry of education advises parents teachers and
pupils to check the Results and results slip for any anomalies such as incorrect
candidate’s name, school name, and code as well as wrong subject grade, and
report to KNEC within a month after the announcement.
