Seventh Day Adventist church Hakairu is a young vibrant growing Centre of influence.
The church looks forward to being organized soon as a
fully-fledged church under the sisterhood of CKC churches. The Church is a
missionary-centered congregation actively seeking to fulfill the great
commission of Jesus as outlined in Matthew
28:18-20. Our missionary work is embedded in the overarching vision “In
harmony with Bible revelation, Seventh-day Adventists see as the climax of
God’s plan the restoration of all His creation to full harmony with His perfect
will and righteousness”: Mission “Make disciples of Jesus Christ who live as
His loving witnesses and proclaim to all people the everlasting gospel of the
Three Angels’ Messages in preparation for His soon return (Matt
28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Rev 14:6-12)”. Our approach is also guided by the Bible and
the Holy Spirit, Seventh-day Adventists pursue this mission through Christ-like
living, communicating, discipling, teaching, healing, and serving. Hakairu
church is a Sabbath School that is soon to be organized into an independent
church. The church was born as a result of a one-month evangelistic total
member involvement [TMI] campaign conducted in 2017. This was a
collaboration of Kenyatta University S.D.A church KUSDA and Ruiru Central S.D.A
church. From one member baptized after this campaign, the church has
experienced rapid growth, currently with a membership of 80 members [50 adults
and 30 children].

About Seventh-day Adventists®
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream Protestant
church with approximately 19 million members worldwide, including more than 4 million
members in Kenya. The Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks to enhance quality of
life for people everywhere and to let people know that Jesus is coming again
soon.
Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons—the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Spirit—make up one God. They made salvation possible when
Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life
in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of
the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was
won for everyone.
When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus
left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to
return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His
people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that
day.
Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of
human life, and that everything—the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each
other, and care for the world around us—is part of His plan. Our families, our
children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to
Him.
