Superior Homes
Kenya PLC is a real
estate developer who takes pride in being the pioneer of the open-plan gated
community concept in East Africa, which is now recognized as the future for
sustainable living in East Africa. Developments under the Superior Homes brand
include Greenpark Estate in Athi River, Pazuri at Vipingo and Lake Elementaita
Mountain Lodge.
Superior
Homes owns several houses situated at Greenpark and at the Pazuri Vipingo
Estate. The houses are fully furnished to a high standard, and the gardens are
well-maintained. It has been decided to rent out the houses or the rooms in the
houses on a short-stay basis, and we are seeking to identify the services of a
suitably qualified individual or company to market, sell, collect cash, and
manage the houses.
In addition to the company-owned
houses, there will be other houses in the ‘pool’ that will be rented out for
short stays on a revenue share basis. Clients will mostly be sourced via
digital media advertising, referrals, and word of mouth. The Staycation
Supervisor (SS) will be responsible for houses at Greenpark and Pazuri.
All routes
to market will be utilised, including digital media such as Airbnb,
booking.com, Expedia, and others, and direct door-to-door selling to businesses
in the vicinity of Athiriver, Lukenya, Mombasa, and North Coast.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential target markets and
engage in direct marketing strategies to attract clients.
- Maximize the effectiveness of all
marketing efforts to ensure the highest possible levels of occupancy.
- Ensure that all clients have prepaid for
their stay prior to check-in.
- Ensure that clients do not exceed their
prepayment duration.
- Communicate effectively with both
potential clients and current clients as needed.
- Meet and greet clients, ensuring they are
settled in comfortably where possible. For instances where meet-and-greet
is not feasible, ensure smooth entry for clients.
- Discreetly provide necessary routine
support to clients as required, ensuring their needs are met.
- Be available for clients when they have
check in and during their stay, or ensure the same is arranged.
- Be present during the checkout process
when possible to ensure a smooth experience.
- Inspect properties after checkout
promptly, identifying any damages or losses.
- Arrange for cleaning and preparation of
properties for incoming clients, ensuring readiness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in driving sales and
marketing initiatives.
- Have good knowledge of marketing using
digital media.
- Have an understanding of basic business
and basic finance.
- Have a good understanding of short-term
house lets.
- Be completely reliable, honest and
trustworthy
- Be a good communicator.
