We are pleased to announce the launch of a 6-Week Special Internship Program taking place in Kenya, from September to October 2025. This unique program, hosted by Year of Return Africa (YORA), is designed to empower recent graduates and prospective graduates with hands-on experience, industry insights, and transformative learning opportunities in their chosen fields.

About the Program

This immersive internship program offers masterclasses led by industry experts and thought leaders across a wide range of disciplines. Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, develop practical skills, and network with professionals in their field. The program is open to graduates or soon-to-be graduates in the following areas:

  • Diplomacy
  • Business, Marketing, and Commerce (B-Com)
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
  • Fine Arts and Film
  • Media Technology
  • Finance and Accounting
  • Law
  • Medicine

Applicants are invited to select one of the following masterclasses to focus on during the program:

  • AI & Robotics
  • Film and Documentary Production
  • Tech-Diplomacy
  • Business Start-Up and Entrepreneurship
  • Acting and Theatre

  • International Trade & Policy Studies
  • The Business of Coffee Baristas
  • Health and Wellness for Life

Program Highlights

  • Duration: 6 weeks (September – October 2025)
  • Locations: Nairobi with travel to Malindi, Kenya
  • Format: In-person masterclasses, workshops, and networking sessions
  • Eligibility: Recent graduates or prospective graduates in the listed fields
  • Application Deadline: June 30, 2025

The application should include:

  • A CV/Resume highlighting your academic and professional background.
  • A personal statement (max 500 words) explaining why you are interested in the program and your chosen masterclass.
  • Any relevant portfolio or work samples (if applicable).

Successful applicants will be contacted for interviews in July 2025 and notified of their acceptance shortly thereafter.
