Job Title: Technical Officer Intern – Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Duration: 3 Months (with possible extension based on performance)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Officer Intern for a 3-month engagement. The ideal candidate is a recent BSc. Medical Laboratory Science graduate, passionate about Quality Management Systems (QMS), proactive, adaptable, tech-savvy, and eager to contribute to ISO 15189:2022 implementation, internal audits, document development, and more.Key Responsibilities
· Support QMS consultants in preparing, reviewing, and editing documents per ISO 15189:2022.· Participate in internal audits and gap assessments under supervision.
· Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and document log updates using Excel and Word.
Help draft and format SOPs, audit tools, and quality manuals.
· Support coordination of virtual and physical training/mentorship sessions, including logistics and documentation.
· Contribute to research and social media content on QMS topics to boost RCG visibility.
· Represent RCG values through professional engagement on platforms like LinkedIn and TikTok.
Minimum Requirements
· BSc. in Medical Laboratory Science recently completed (Attach transcripts or results slip).· Completed attachment in ISO 15189-accredited lab (Attach proof e.g. letter or recommendation).
· Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Active on professional/social media platform (Attach LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, X, etc.).
· Detail-oriented with consistent, quality-driven output.
Desirable Attributes
· Passionate about lab quality systems and accreditation standards.· Shows initiative, is teachable, and adapts well in dynamic team settings.
· Manages time effectively and meets deadlines with minimal supervision.
· Collaborative, enthusiastic, and has strong interpersonal skills.
· Basic understanding of ISO 15189:2022 requirements.
Terms of Engagement
· Full-time 3-month internship, with possible extension based on performance.· Stipend provided for transport, meals, and airtime during work hours.
· Hands-on exposure to QMS implementation and training across healthcare institutions.
