continues to redefine the shopping mall experience in the region. Two Rivers
Lifestyle Centre Limited seeks to recruit a Records Management Intern whose
role will be to support the effective management of the company’s records in
compliance with legal requirements, organizational policies, and recognized
records management best practices.
Key Accountabilities:
- Digitize
physical records by scanning and uploading files to create digital copies.
- Assist
in maintaining, securing, and preserving records in accordance with
industry’s best practices.
- Support
the maintenance of the records registry and archives, ensuring the
security and integrity of stored information.
- Maintain
accurate and up-to-date file movement records to ensure effective records
control.
- Ensure
the confidentiality and security of sensitive records, implementing
appropriate data privacy safeguards.
- Conduct
risk analysis and provide recommendations on key risk elements and
mitigation strategies within the records management function.
- Participate
in records management-related projects across the organization.
- Assist
in the development, regular review, and implementation of records
management policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Monitor
and enforce records retention schedules, ensuring they are current and
effectively applied.
- Develop
and implement disaster recovery procedures to protect records in the event
of emergencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma
in Records/Information Management, Information/Library Science, or a
related field from a recognized institution.
- Strong
ICT skills to support automation and collaborative information sharing.
- Solid
understanding of the records lifecycle, including classification,
indexing, and cataloging.
- Demonstrated
knowledge of records categories and the processes involved at each stage
of the lifecycle
