For students living outside their KMTC campuses, the applicable rent fee and other charges will depend on the property they are renting as specified in the contract they enter with the landlords/agents of such hostel facilities.

Remember that the KMTC application fee is still Shs.2022 (new applicants) and is paid via KMTC pay bill number 964150 when filling the KMTC application form on the KMTC portal.

Can I pay KMTC fees in installment?

Yes, you can but you’re required to pay at least Shs.63200 when registering and clear the balance before the commencement of your second semester (self-sponsored and in-service programmes).

Regular students paying by installments are required to deposit Shs.43200 on/or before the registration date and settle the remainder of Shs.37500 before the start of the second semester.
