The University of Nairobi (UON) allows students to register/create an email id with “name@students.uonbi.ac.ke” to access the UON student portal of the university.
For those students including first-year who do
not know their e-mail addresses, a facility has been created to enable
them to search for details of their e-mail accounts. To do this, they should
follow the steps below:

one: Open this URL in your browser register.uonbi.ac.ke
- Step
two: A registration form will appear now enter your Registration Number:

your SMIS Password:

All University of Nairobi students can now access their personal e-mail accounts “@students.uonbi.ac.ke” through the website address http://mail.students.uonbi.ac.ke. Students can access the e-mail site directly, or by following the “Students E-mail” link found on the homepage of the University of Nairobi website (http://www.uonbi.ac.ke)
Prerequisite
- Ensure
that you have filled a ‘Student Online Access Registration Form’
upon joining the institution and submit it to your school’s
administrator. The form is available on the UON
Students portal. Select the link ‘Request Login Password’, then click
on the link ‘Student online access registration form’.
